We recommend easy to change different types of clothing for different types of weather in Colombia that changes quickly at a moments notice:
- Boat supplies/wear: swim shorts, speedos, relaxed wear
- Towel if you’d like to swim
- Sun block
- Waterproof windbreaker for chances of rain / cool weather
- Comfortable walking shoes
If you would like to climb the landmark in Guatapé:
- Pesos or Dollars for Crew gratuity. If your guide and captain did a great job, they would happily appreciate gratuity:

- Guides: $5 to $10 USD per passenger

Water and a cooler is provided for your transport. Feel free to bring additional drinks to enjoy to and from.
There is a convenience store before take off during your boat tour where your guide can load any beverages you may like to enjoy during your trip with a provided cooler.
We have a suggested break during the boat tour around Guatapé lake at an Exclusive Restaurant ATMA. A chic Colombian/Mexican infused restaurant that is a great stop for photos, restrooms, drinks, food and more.
